The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered homeless persons on a single night in January. HUD requires that Continuums of Care conduct an annual count of people experiencing homelessness on a single night.
The Out-Wayne CoC will be hosting the annual PIT count on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. It will 100 volunteers to canvass all of Out-Wayne County to get an accurate count of all the people experiencing homelessness in Out-Wayne County. If you would like to volunteer to sign up here.
