Volunteers Needed for Project Homeless Connect

The Out Wayne County Homeless Services Coalition is seeking volunteers for the upcoming Project Homeless Connect event on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. The event is being held at ChristNet Center (22395 Eureka Rd.) in Taylor from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Volunteers are needed to escort clients to various services at the event, assist clients in selecting winter gear and assist in the Connect Café during the event. There is a minimum volunteer requirement of 1 hour.
Volunteers are asked to complete an application and attend a short volunteer training on either Tuesday, November 10 at 2 pm or Friday, November 13, 2009 at 2 pm.
