Change of Date/Location for January 2018 Membership Meeting

Posted by admin on December 20, 2017

There is a change to the date and location of the January membership meeting for the Out-Wayne County Homeless Services Coalition.  The new date will be Thursday, January 11th from 9:30 to 11:00pm.  The new location will be the first floor conference room at the Wyandotte offices of Wayne Metro, 2121 Biddle, Wyandotte, MI 48192.

An important topic that will be discussed at this meeting will be the planning for the PIT Count.  Both an unsheltered and sheltered count will be conducted this year, with the unsheltered count occurring on the evening of Wednesday, January 31st.  Having as much participation as possible at the January 11th membership meeting from agencies and stakeholders will be very helpful for feedback to inform outreach, volunteer recruitment, training and other aspects of the PIT Count.

The next meeting of the PIT Planning Committee will be held on Monday, January 8th at 2pm at the Jefferson Barns Community Vitality Center, 32150 Dorsey Street, Westland, MI 48186.  If you are interested in participating on the committee please contact Mitch Blum-Alexander at
